Biography:

Holds a Bachelor degree in commerce from the faculty of commerce and business administration at Helwan University in Cairo, Egypt (1992 - 1996) and a Professional Certificate in Modern Accounting from The American University in Cairo (1994 -1996) in addition to several professional qualifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant in California, USA, Certified Risk Professional (CRP) from the Bank Administration Institute in Chicago, USA, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from the Institute of Internal Auditors in Florida, USA and Certified Associate Business Manager (CABM) from the Association of Professionals in Business Management in Chicago, USA.

Has over 11 years of experience in senior executive positions in big four audit firms and leading financial institutions in Kuwait. Through professional career, has been advising clients including the leaders in financial services institutions, construction, Petrochemicals, Airlines, Manufacturing, Telecommunications and Real Estate Development on best practices and was able to build up a track record of success in managing complex business initiatives and formulating and execution of corporate strategy.

Has long experience providing business community training to individuals and corporate that includes teaching CPA, CIA and CMA review courses and International Financial Reporting standards as well as other accounting and business related topics. Currently a lead instructor for the CPA review course of Ernst & Young Kuwait. Also an Instructor at the American University of Kuwait.
